Music is Poetry Presentation
Directions: After practicing in class how to analyze song lyrics while identifying figurative language and its meaning, select a song of your choice to analyze poetically. You will also select which type(s) of digital media you would like to utilize when presenting your findings and reasoning to the class. Your presentation must include: the lyrics of your (appropriate) song, a picture to represent your visual interpretation of the song's meaning, three different types of figurative language you find within the song with accompanying explanations of meaning, and a written paraphrase of the song's meaning.
